KazTransGas finished last year with a net profit of 45.270 billion tenge ($306 million), according to the company's audited financial statements.
"Based on a decision by KazTransGas's only shareholder, KazMunaiGas, 17 billion tenge will be spent on paying dividends to only shareholder, and 28.27 billion tenge will remain at the disposal of KazTransGas," the company said in a press release.
KazTransGas was established in 2000 for the management, obtainment and exploitation of the major gas pipelines and pipeline infrastructure in Kazakhstan. KazTransGas works in gas extraction, transport and sales.
