Azerbaijan exported 392 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in the amount of $15.26 million in 2010, the State Customs Committee said today.
As the committee said, last year the country imported 83.9 million kilowatt-hours of electricity worth about $3.7 million.
In 2010, JSC Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijani regions) produced 18.4 billion kilowatt hours of electricity compared to 18.6 billion kilowatt hours in 2009.
In 2010, the country continued energy exchange with neighboring countries - Russia, Iran and Georgia
