There are new opportunities to enhance cooperation between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Italian Corporation Saras, which is a leader in recycling in Europe, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said in a meeting with the Corporation head Massimo Moratti.
He said this cooperation will be future extended .
During the meeting, Abdullayev said there is close cooperation between SOCAR Traiding and Saras. He praised the level of cooperation between the sides.
Italian Saras has a refining capacity of 300,000 barrels per day (about 15 percent of total refining capacity in Italy), and 80 percent of light and medium distillates with low environmental impact (mainly diesel fuel and gasoline) accounts for the company. The company also integrated into the sphere of petrochemistry and power generation.
