According to preliminary data, total profit of the Kazakh National Oil Company KazMunaiGas in 2011 will amount to 379 billion tenge ($2.5 billion), which is 24 percent more than in 2010, the Oil and Gas Company Head Lyazzat Kiinov said at the board of Samruk-Kazyna Fund on Friday.
"According to preliminary data, the total profit will amount to 379 billion tenge or 24 percent more than the profit in 2010," he said.
He said consolidated return of the company in 2011 amounted to 2.8 trillion tenge ($18.9 billion), while expenditures - 2.7 trillion tenge ($18.4 billion).
"Excess of target figures was 26 percent and 25 percent respectively," he said.
