According to the draft state and consolidated budget of Azerbaijan for 2013 and the next three years, the country is expected to produce 43.2 million tons of oil and 28.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas next year, the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan said on Monday.
It is predicted that oil production in the country will increase by 0.7 percent compared to the end of 2012 (42.9 million tons), and will decrease by 5.26 percent in comparison with the actual data of 2011 (45.6 million tons).
Gas production will exceed the forecast for this year (27.1 billion cubic meters) by 6.27 percent and the actual data in 2011 by 12.06 percent (25.7 billion cubic meters).
