Prices of oil and oil products up in Kazakhstan

The prices of manufactured goods increased by three per cent and mining goods by 1.2 per cent in Kazakhstan in October 2012 compared to September, the Kazakh Statistics Agency said today.

According to the report, industrial production increased by 1.7 per cent, production services by 1.2 per cent in October.

According to the Statistics Agency, the prices on liquefied propane and butane increased by 14.4 per cent, diesel fuel by 3.8 per cent, coal by 2.6 per cent, fuel oil by 2.5 per cent and oil by 1.8 per cent. The price of gas condensate dropped 2.3 per cent in October.

According to the report, the price on lead increased by 20.3 per cent, copper by 16.2 per cent, zinc by 15.2 per cent, raw aluminium by 11.8 per cent and precious metals by 7.9 per cent in October. The prices on ferrous metal fell by five per cent and ferro-alloys by 0.3 per cent.

The prices on cereals increased by 3.9 per cent, pasta by 3.5 per cent, poultry by 3.4 per cent, rye flour 3.2 per cent, wheat two per cent and vegetable oil by two per cent.

The prices on fish fell by 2.1 per cent and tea by 1.4 per cent.
