Kazakh Samruk-Green Energy joins European Wind Energy Association

Kazakh Samruk-Green Energy (a 100-percent subsidiary of Samruk-Energy) joined the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA), Kazinform reported with reference to Samruk-Energy.

It became the first Kazakhstan's company which joined the Association.

"Along with the world's leading wind energy enterprises, LLP "Samruk-Green Energy' became a full member of the Association, which is the most powerful European wind energy network of professionals, which brings together more than 700 key players of the industry," the company said.

According to the company, Samruk-Green Energy will be able to represent Kazakhstan's interests in the international arena of wind energy through EWEA.

"Due to experience and professionalism of EWEA, Samruk-Green Energy will be able to keep abreast of global technological developments, know-how and researches, which will be the basis for effective development of wind power in the Republic of Kazakhstan," the company said.

EWEA is the voice of the wind industry, actively promoting wind power in Europe and worldwide. It has over 700 members from almost 60 countries making EWEA the world's largest and most powerful wind energy network.
