Gas transit through Kazakhstan amounted to 19.185 billion cubic meters in January-March, 2013 compared to 18.846 billion cubic meters in January-March, 2012, the Central Dispatching Department of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend.
In March, 2013 gas transit through the country was carried out to the amount of 5.927 billion cubic meters compared to 5.873 billion cubic meters in February and 6.767 billion cubic meters in March, 2012.
Some 2.807 billion cubic meters of the total volume of gas transit through Kazakhstan in January-March, 2013, accounted for Central Asian gas compared to 2.706 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2012.
In March, 2013 the Central Asian gas was transported through the country to the amount of 934 million cubic meters compared to 933 million in March, 2012.
