As of April 22, 2013, the daily gas volume supplied to the Azerbaijani population hit 15 million cubic meters compared to 16.6 million cubic meters on March 27, a source in SOCAR told Trend today.
SOCAR said that gas consumption is falling due to good weather conditions. In particular, the figure hits 9 million cubic meters in Baku per day.
"Around 6 million cubic meters of gas fall to the regions of the country," SOCAR said.
SOCAR's Azerigaz production association deals with distribution and sale of natural gas in Azerbaijan.
