The Sumgait Technologies Park has started negotiating with the consortium for the development of Azerbaijani gas condensate field Shah Deniz to use its products in the operations within the project, the park told Trend on Tuesday.
The Sumgait Technologies Park has the potential for cooperation with consortium members and other foreign companies included in this project.
The park offers to supply its own products, namely, cable channels, bolts, plastic pipes, cables.
"We are negotiating with BP," a representative of the park said. "I am sure that the situation will be clarified by the end of the year. BP is interested in cooperation with local companies. We are also interested in participating in such projects."
