The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported about 1.04 million tons of oil products from its own refineries in 2013 compared to over 1.24 million tons in 2012, SOCAR said today.
Petroleum products in Azerbaijan are made at two Baku refineries with a total capacity of 16 million tons a year. Both are part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan which annually processes approximately seven million tons of oil extracted from onshore and offshore fields and is self-funded.
