Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said that Iran is ready to construct oil refineries and petrochemical complexes in Congo, Iran's Fars News Agency reported on Mar. 8.
He made the remarks at a meeting with deputy parliament speaker of Congo.
"Iran eyes to boost bilateral ties with Congo," Larijani said.
He went on to note that the countries can expand ties in the fields of mines and bridge construction.
"Iran and Congo can also increase their parliamentary relations," the Iranian official added.
