The price of OPEC basket of fourteen crudes stood at $42.90 a barrel on Nov.16, compared with $41.84 the previous day, according to the cartel’s website.

The new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Rabi Light (Gabon), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).

Crude oil futures dropped on Nov.17. US benchmark WTI crude was down 11 cents, or 0.24 percent, at $45.46 a barrel at 00:40 GMT. European ICE Brent crude futures fell 16 cents, or 0.34 percent, to $46.47 per barrel.
