Kazakh oil refinery surpasses planned oil processing figures

Kazakhstan’s Shymkent Oil Refinery processed 4.6 million tons of oil in 2017.

The refinery processed 326,000 tons more than planned by the Energy Ministry (4.3 million tons in 2017) exceeding it by 107.5 percent, the press service of PetroKazakhstan LLP said in a message.

The plant also produced 279.700 tons of aviation kerosene, which exceeded the plan by 59.400 tons (127 percent of the plan).

In the first 18 days of January 2018, the refinery processed 240,300 tons of oil. In the same period, the plant produced 54,500 tons of K4 diesel fuel (meets Euro 4 standard) and 58,800 tons of high-octane K4 gasoline.

Pavlodar Refinery processed 4,746,923 tons of oil in 2017, and 220,318 tons in the first 15 days of January 2018.

Atyrau Refinery processed 4,723,647 tons of oil in 2017 and 218,778 tons of oil since the beginning of 2018.
