Loading of polypropylene on to the Russian dry cargo ship “Musa Jalil” in the Caspian port of Turkmenbashi is nearly complete, says a report of the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
“The Russian ship will deliver about two tons of polypropylene to the port of Olya in Russia’s Astrakhan region,” the report said. “About 60,000 tons of valuable products were shipped from the Turkmenbashi port in 2017. On average, the port receives about 200 tons of granular oil products daily from the oil refinery in Turkmenbashi city.”
Turkmenistan sells polypropylene to such countries as Japan, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan. Most of the exports are transported via sea.
