Azerbaijan’s SOCAR-AQS LLC has started to drill a new well from the platform #328 at the Gunashli field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the company told Trend Oct. 19.
The design depth of the new well #328 is 2,800 meters, the company said.
The work is carried out on the offshore stationary platform #7.
SOCAR-AQS was established in 2007 by Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR and Absheron Drilling Company as a joint venture rendering integrated services for drilling and well servicing.
Presently, SOCAR-AQS is conducting drilling at the Gunashli, Western Absheron, Umid and Bulla Deniz fields.
