In January-April 2019, Azerbaijan exported 12.1 million tons of oil, which is 22.6 percent more than in January-April 2018, Trend reports referring to the country's State Customs Committee.
According to the committee, in total terms, exports amounted to $5.7 billion (an increase of 18.4 percent).
In the reported period, Azerbaijan also exported almost 360,000 tons of oil products worth $178.4 million. Over a year, these figures decreased by 2.4 percent and 1.8 percent, respectively. The share of oil products in the country's exports was 2.52 percent.
In January-April 2019, the total volume of Azerbaijan's exports amounted to $7.1 billion, which is over 20.3 percent more than in the same period last year.
