In 2019-2025, Uzbekneftegaz plans to implement over 30 projects totaling $33 billion, one third of which is under direct investment, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the company.
Uzbekneftegaz states that the funds worth almost $4 billion will be allocated to a gas-chemical complex project using MTO technology (methanol to olefins), $1.5 billion to a program on modernization of the gas transmission system, $1.3 billion to upgrade two oil refineries and $800 million for underground storage gas in the Bukhara region.
Perspective projects are considered be implemented together with American Air Products, Korean GS Engineering & Construction and SK Engineering & Construction and Mubadala from the United Arab Emirates, reads the message.
It is also planned to attract about $8 billion in the framework of production sharing agreements with Russian companies Lukoil, Gazprom and Gas Project Development Central Asia (GPD, a structure of Gazprom International).
Furthermore, projects are being prepared to increase hydrocarbon production with Russian Zarubezhneft and Tatneft, French Total, Azerbaijani SOCAR, British BP, Korean KNOC, Indian ONGC Videsh.
Currently, 15 projects are being implemented, in accordance with the investment program for 2019, in the oil and gas industry with the use of investments worth $2.4 billion, including $1.1 billion of direct investments.
