US Epsilon receives up to 40 tons of oil at two wells in Uzbekistan

The US Epsilon Development Company LLC, together with Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company, announced that an influx of hydrocarbons was received on Oct. 23 after the hydraulic fracturing of the Rubayi field, Trend reports citing Epsilon.

According to the company, inflow of up to 15 tons of oil and 50,000 cubic meters of gas per day was received at well No. 10 and up to 25 tons of oil and 50,000 cubic meters of gas per day at well No. 14.

The hydraulic fracturing at wells No. 10 and No. 14 of the Rubayi field located on the Shurtan group of fields was carried out on Oct. 22.

Upon completion of work, all soil from the territory adjacent to the wells is collected in special metal containers for further reclamation.

The main activities of Epsilon Development Company are prospecting, exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons, flare gas and oil, and construction of industrial facilities and transport communications.

For the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, a consortium of investors has been established with the Thyssen Krupp (Germany), Epsilon Development Company, and Epsilon Asia Limited (Hong Kong).

In the framework of joint activities, Epsilon Development Company has already commenced large-scale exploration at the Kultak-Kamashi, Mubarak, Surkhan, Ashibulak, Koskudyk and West Fergana blocks.
