Eighteen platforms for loading light and heavy oil products have been commissioned by Isfahan Oil Refining Company in Iran's Isfahan province, Murtaza Ibrahimi, executive director of the company, said.
“These platforms are designed for loading lube-cut heavy duty cutting oil, iso recycle (from crude oil), various solvent and other products,” Ibrahimi added, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
Ibrahimi said that the platforms were built on a 1.5-hectare area and 600 billion rials (about $14.2 million) were spent on the construction.
“The implementation of a project for the transportation and filtration of wastewater from the Shahin Shahr county of Isfahan province to the company was launched,” the executive director added.
Ibrahimi said that 1 trillion rials (about $23.8 million) will be spent for this project and the water consumption will reduce by 750 cubic meters per hour.
Isfahan oil refining company launched its activity in 1979. Presently, the company processes more than 375,000 barrels of oil per day.
The company produces 12 million liters of gasoline complying with Euro 5 standard and 2 million liters of diesel complying with Euro 4 and Euro 5 standards.
Twenty-two million liters of diesel complying with Euro 5 standard are expected to be produced next Iranian year (from March 21, 2020 through March 21, 2021) after commissioning a diesel filtration plant.
