Iran’s gas processing volumes increase

Gas processing at Iran's gas processing plants has increased from the beginning of this Iranian year (began March 20, 2020), compared to the same period of last Iranian year, National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Spokesperson Mohammad Asghari told Shana news agency, Trend reports.

According to Asghari, Iran currently processes an average of 674 million cubic meters of gas per day.

Asghari added that gas processing has increased by 24 million cubic meters compared to the same period last Iranian year.

The official said that Iran processed an average of 650 million cubic meters of gas per day in the same period last Iranian year.

Iran intends to increase gas production to 1 billion cubic meters per day by the end of current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020).
