Three water and electricity facilities have been launched in Iran’s Tehran and Hormozgan provinces today on October 29, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Energy of Iran.
According to the report, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian, and several officials attended the event dedicated to launching facilities via video conference.
A total of 33.4 trillion rials (about $795 million) was spent on these facilities, the report added.
According to the report, thus, 4.85 trillion rials (about $115 million) has been spent on the launch of the 6th water filtration center in Tehran Province, and 4.9 trillion rials (about $116 million) was spent on the water supply to the west and northwest of Tehran including Parand city.
“Furthermore, a total of 23.6 trillion rials (about $563 million) has been spent on the launch of the second gas unit of the Qeshm Combined Cycle Power Plant in Iran's Hormozgan Province,” the report noted.
