The CEO of West Azerbaijan Power Distribution Company announced that 1,400 km of 20 kV electricity grid has been built in this province since the beginning of the first Rouhani`s administration term.
"The 20 kV electricity grid in West Azerbaijan Province has increased by 10 percent in the last 7 years,” the CEO of West Azerbaijan Electricity Power Distribution Company, Akbar Hasanbagloo said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Before the Rouhani`s administration (started in June 2013), the total volume of 20 kV electricity grid in West Azerbaijan was 13,892 km, which has now reached 15,292 km,” he said.
The CEO of West Azerbaijan Electricity Distribution Company said that "Currently, there are 1.2 million electricity subscribers in this province, which are divided into 20 active electricity distribution areas."
According to IRNA, 99 percent of the province`s population has access to electricity. 1,250 megawatts of electricity is produced annually in the province and one thousand megawatts is consumed per year
