Iran's Lordegan Company declares revenues

The Lordegan Urea Fertilizer Company in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (southwestern Iran) will profit revenues worth $240 million from exports per year, Executive Director of the company, Mohsen Mahmoudi said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

Mahmoudi emphasized that the company can produce 1.07 million tons of urea and 677,000 tons of ammonia per year.

He added that about 600,000 tons of produced ammonia are used to produce urea.

The director noted that the company’s plants consume 749 million cubic meters of gas per year in connection with the production.

Mahmoudi also said that the Lordegan Urea Fertilizer Company was constructed with an investment of 754 million euros and 11.2 trillion rials (about $267 million). It is estimated that the company will make full use of its potential by the end of the current Iranian year (until March 21, 2021).

“A total of about 2,200 people were employed at the company, so far,” the director stressed.

Iran's Lordegan Petrochemical Company is located in the Lordegan County of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province and the main shareholder of this company is the Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group.
