The capacity of the gas compressor station is 30 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
The facility consists of two production units, one of which is associated with the development of the Malay gas field. It is designed to maintain the pressure and volume of the gas field. For this purpose, a set of gas compressor equipment is installed. The b-block of the facility is designed to increase the pressure of natural gas in the Uchadzhi, Dovletabat, and Galkynysh gas fields.

Malay is one of the most productive fields in Turkmenistan, where efficient natural gas production has been carried out for many years.
Gas supplies to the Central Asia-China Gas Pipeline are also provided from this field.
As reported, the construction of a booster compressor station (BSC) will increase fuel supplies to China.
Turkmenistan will annually supply 65 billion cubic meters of gas to China by the end of 2021, under the agreement signed between Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas and the China National Oil and Gas Corporation (CNPC)
