Iran's Tabriz Petrochemical Company intends to increase sales to CIS markets

The Tabriz Petrochemical Company in East Azerbaijan (northwestern Iran) intends to increase sales in the markets of the CIS countries, the CEO of the company Siavash Darafshi said, Trend reports citing National Petrochemical Company of Iran’s website.

The CEO noted that 56 percent of the company's products are exported currently. About 80 percent of the company's customers are fully satisfied with the quality of the products.

Darafshi added that new products will be added to the company's sales basket in the next Iranian year (to start March 21, 2021). It is hoped that polypropylene products will also be added to the basket.

“The construction of the first heavy polyethylene plant at the Tabriz Petrochemical Company will be launched soon,” he said.

As reported, Iran's Tabriz Petrochemical Company can produce more than 815,000 tons of petrochemical products a year. These products are polyethylene, propylene, ABS, polystyrene, and others.
