Turkmenistan’s Nebitgaznebit department of Turkmennebit State Concern restored 86 wells since the beginning of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.
A new industrial inflow of crude oil was received from the above-mentioned restored wells.
The additional volume of oil produced from the newly commissioned wells amounted to 24,197 tons.
Turkmenistan’s Nebitgazchykarysh enterprise of Turkmennebit State Concern restored and handed over for further operation 209 wells from January through May 2021.
Some 66,309 tons of oil and 22 million cubic meters of natural gas were additionally extracted from these wells, the report said.
Turkmenistan is conducting exploration work for the rational use of old deposits.
