Products worth over 1.4 billion manat ($820 million) have been manufactured in the sector of generation, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam in Azerbaijan from January to July 2021, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, the growth rate in this sector amounted to 2.6 percent compared to the first seven months of last year.
The manufacturing value of products in the field of water supply, waste treatment and processing amounted to 240 million manat ($141.1 million), added the committee.
As earlier reported, industrial production in Azerbaijan has increased by 1.1 percent from January to July of this year compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to 27.5 billion manat ($16.1 billion).
