The Iranian Aghajari Oil and Gas Production Company (AOGPC) has fulfilled its plan for crude oil production by 102 percent, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), the Executive Director of the company Pejman Ghazaipour said, Trend reports citing National Iranian South Oil Company’s website.

The director noted that in total, the Aghajari Oil and Gas Production Company extracts crude oil from 8 oil fields through its 48 operating units.

Ghazaipour added that it is necessary to renew equipment, pipelines and vehicles in the oil fields controlled by the company. All this can have a positive effect on production.

As reported, Iran's Aghajari Oil & Gas Production Company is a subsidiary of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC). The company has 8 oil fields, including Aghajari, Karanj, Paranj, Parsi, Ramshir, Rag Sefid, Pazanan, and Marun.

About 615,000 barrels of light and heavy crude oil is extracted daily from 8 fields. The company supplies fuel to domestic refineries and exports the remaining amount.

In addition, it supplies 30 percent of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company's liquefied natural gas needs. The company also produces 11,000 barrels of naphtha per day.
