The facility on the first production complex at Azerbaijan’s Gunashli field has been handed over as part of the project “Reconstruction for drilling 12 additional wells at DJ No. 7”, and the second production complex will be commissioned at the end of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR.
Construction and installation works are underway at other facilities. Out of 22 wells drilled from DJ, 21 wells were put into operation. The facility on I production complex has been handed over as part of the “Reconstruction for drilling 2 additional wells at DJ No. 5” facility, and II production complex will be handed over by the end of this year (in preparation for completion after drilling No. 366). Work on the object “Reconstruction of 2 additional oil wells for drilling in FOP 112” was completed, wells were drilled and put into operation.
BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited is the operator on behalf of the Contractor Parties to the ACG Production Sharing Agreement.
ACG participating interests are: bp (30.37 percent), SOCAR (25.0 percent), MOL (replaced Chevron as of 16 April 2020 (9.57 percent), INPEX (9.31 percent), Equinor (7.27 percent), ExxonMobil (6.79 percent), TPAO (5.73 percent), ITOCHU (3.65 percent), ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL) (2.31 percent).
