Iran's Aghajari Oil and Gas Production Company has resumed its crude oil production of more than 20,000 barrels daily from two oil fields, an official of the AOGPC Manouchehr Ghanavati said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
Ghanavati said that in this regard, the company's pipelines to the Pazanan desalination center have been repaired. And thus, and thus re-extraction from the Aghajari and Pazanan fields has started.
The official added that crude oil from extracted from several wells in the Pazanan and Agajari oil fields is transported to the Pazanan desalination center via the 28-km long pipeline. The center does desalination of crude oil in accordance with the standards adopted by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
Iran's Aghajari Oil & Gas Production Company is a subsidiary of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC). The company has 8 oil fields, including Aghajari, Karanj, Paranj, Parsi, Ramshir, Rag Sefid, Pazanan, and Marun.
About 615,000 barrels of light and heavy crude oil are extracted daily from 8 fields. The company supplies fuel to domestic refineries and exports the remaining amount.
In addition, it supplies 30 percent of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company's liquefied natural gas needs. The company also produces 11,000 barrels of naphtha per day.
