Turkmenistan decreases crude oil supplies to Turkey

Turkey has imported a total of 22,000 tons of crude oil in December 2021 from Turkmenistan, which accounted for 0.55 percent of total Turkey’s crude oil imports for the month, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

Thus, Turkey’s import of Turkmen crude oil decreased by more than 2.5 times compared to February 2021 (56,000 tons) and by almost 3.5 times compared to the volume imported in November 2021 (76,000 tons). Export was not carried out in January.

Turkey’s import of crude oil from Turkmenistan from January through December 2021 amounted to 662,694 tons.
