BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 31. The production of petrol in Kazakhstan amounted to 409,800 tons in January 2022, which is 0.1 percent more than in January 2021 and 16.3 percent less than in December 2021, Trend reports citing the Kazakh Statistics Committee.
According to the agency, Kazakhstan imported 51 tons of petrol in January 2022, which is 1.1 percent more than in December 2021.
The entire volume was sold on the local market in January 2022, which is 13 percent more than in January 2021 and 16.6 percent less than in December 2021, the committee noted.
Kazakhstan did not export petrol in January 2022, the statement added.
