BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Natural gas production in Azerbaijan amounted to 11.8 billion cubic meters in 1Q20022, Trend reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy.
A total of 3.5 billion cubic meters of gas were produced at the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) block of fields and 6.4 billion cubic meters at Shah Deniz field.
According to the ministry, gas production by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) amounted to 1.9 billion cubic meters.
Some 2.2 billion cubic meters of gas were exported to Turkey, 2.6 billion cubic meters to Europe and 1.1 billion cubic meters to Georgia in 1Q2022.
Gas production from the ACG block of fields totaled over 193 billion cubic meters, Shah Deniz - about 164 billion cubic meters as of April 1, 2022.
