BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 4. Average daily equity production of Norway’s Equinor from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli in the first quarter of 2022 stood at 31.5 mboe/day, as compared to 35.2 mboe/day in the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the company.

As such, Equinor’s equity production from ACG dropped by 10.5 percent year-on-year.

Equinor’s non-current assets in Azerbaijan dropped from $1.692 billion as of March 31, 2021 to $1.633 billion as of March 31, 2022, a 3.48 percent decrease year-on-year.

BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited is the operator on behalf of the Contractor Parties to the ACG Production Sharing Agreement.

ACG participating interests are: bp (30.37 percent), SOCAR (25.0 percent), MOL (replaced Chevron as of 16 April 2020 (9.57 percent), INPEX (9.31 percent), Equinor (7.27 percent), ExxonMobil (6.79 percent), TPAO (5.73 percent), ITOCHU (3.65 percent), ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL) (2.31 percent).

Total Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) production for 2021 was on average about 458,000 barrels per day (b/d), as compared to 477,000 barrels per day in 2020.
