TEHRAN, Iran, May 16. The National Iranian Oil Company is to sign a contract to develop North and South Azadegan oil fields, said the Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company, Mohsen Khojastehmehr, Trend reports.
A $7.5 billion contract will be signed with a consortium of exploration and production (E&P) companies in the coming months to develop phase 2 of the North Azadegan oil field and the second phase in the South Azadegan oil field, he said in a press conference at the 26th edition of Iran International Oil, Gas, and Refining & Petrochemical Exhibition.
The Ministry of Petroleum has agreed with the general contract based on its agenda for maximum development of oil and gas fields.
