BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. Azerbaijan is considered a country with one of the most affordable prices for gasoline as of August 29, 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Global Petrol Prices (GPP) portal.
According to the portal, the cost of gasoline in Azerbaijan is $0.58 per liter.
At the same time, the cheapest gasoline in the world is in Venezuela ($0.02 per liter) and the most expensive is in Hong Kong ($2.98 per liter).
In addition to Venezuela, the top five countries with the cheapest gasoline included Libya, Iran, Algeria, Kuwait.
Greece, Denmark, Finland, Barbados, Switzerland, Norway, Central African Republic, Iceland, Zimbabwe and Hong Kong are among the top ten countries with the most expensive gasoline.
Furthermore, gasoline prices in countries are due to different types of fuel taxes and subsidies.
