ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 29. Azerbaijan imported 17,994 tons of jet fuel from Turkmenistan from January through September 2023, Trend reports.
As conveyed from Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee, the price of Turkmen jet fuel imported from Azerbaijan totaled $9.86 million, which is 2.6 times less than the data for the same time previous year.
From January to September 2023, Azerbaijan bought around 23,057 tons of jet fuel from Turkmenistan, at a cost of more than $25.78 million.
Coincidently, Azerbaijan bought from Turkmenistan about 36,300 tons of jet engine fuel worth over $39.2 million last year, which is 4.2 times more than in the same period in 2021.
Meanwhile, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan surged 2.2 times from January to September 2023, hitting $678.37 million compared to $305.58 million the previous year.
