ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 4. Turkmenistan ranks within the group of ten nations with the most affordable diesel fuel prices as of April 1, 2024, Trend reports.
According to the Global Petrol Prices (GPP) portal, diesel fuel is priced at $0.0.286 per liter in Turkmenistan.
The country with the cheapest diesel fuel in the world is Venezuela ($0.004 per liter), and the most expensive - Hong Kong ($3.027 per liter).
Besides Venezuela and Turkmenistan, the list of nations with the least expensive diesel fuel comprises Iran, Libya, Angola, Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Malaysia.
Denmark, Albania, Israel, Finland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Central African Republic, Monaco, Iceland, are among the ten countries with the highest diesel fuel prices.
Meanwhile, differences in diesel fuel prices in different countries are explained by different fuel taxation structures and subsidies.
