РђIOC increased oil export from Azerbaijan in 2005 considerably

The Azerbaijan International Operating Company, developing the Azeri-Chirag-Gyuneshli (ACG) off-shore block exported in 2005 totally 11,676 million tons of oil, which is for 5,37 million tons more of 2004.

Totally 6,955 million tons of the Azeri Light oil have been exported in 2005 through the Baku-Supsa (the western route) oil pipeline, through the Baku-Novorossiysk (the northern route) pipeline 2,708 tons of crude, AIOC told Trend. In the Georgian direction, the port of Batumi, 2,017 million tons have been shipped in 2005.

In December 2005 AIOC transported 1,416 million tons of oil in three directions, which is for 139,000 tons more of the previous month and for 816,000 tons more of December 2004.

In December 2005 from the total amount, 626,600 tons of oil has been pumped through the western route, 344,000 tons of oil through the northern route and through the Baku-Batumi route - 446,000 tons.
