With respect to improve the electricuty network Barmek Azerbaijan invested 262.3bn manats in Absheron district and 60.88bn manats in Sumgayit and northern districts, Trend reports citing Huseyn Arabul, the President of Barmek, as stating to a news conference on Thursday.
He noted that along with 100% repayment in December for the companys debts for purchase of elecriviy in November, Barmek also pre-paid 26bn manats for debts accumulated in January.
According to Arabul, Azerenergy JSC should submit a quartile schedule of maximal and minimal tension, while the schedule for 2005 and 2006 has not been submitted yet. The transformer that Barmek acuiqred from Azerenergy are incapable of regulating the tension of 110, 35 and 10 KV. As a result of new investments Barmek now is capable of regulating the tension, he said.
In compliance with the decree dated 23 January 2004, the order of installation and exploitation of anti-incident automate devices is regulated. The company implements the resolutions and instructions of Azerenergy.
He also refuted the reports which urge Barmek does not build a substation.
