Heydar Babayev: Azerbaijan creates beneficial conditions for Bos Shelf to work in the region

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has worked out a packet to create beneficial conditions for the oil-servicing company, Bos Shelf so it could choose Baku as its head quarters to conduct the contractor works in the region, the Economic Development Minister, Heydar Babayev told Trend.

This will include first of all tax benefits, he said. Application of these benefits and dislocation of the company in Baku will help to keep the jobs at the building site of the factory of deepwater foundations named after Heydar Aliyev, where Bos Shelf currently works. The company is engaged in the platform supporting blocs building within the frames of the Azeri-Chraq- Guneshli field exploration project. Thus, local Azerbaijani employees will be able to keep their jobs and continue to work after the BP ordered works will be over.

Bos Shelf has finished clearing one of the ship-ways of the factory to perform there order of the Kazakh contractors. Works within the frames of the large Kazakh field Kashagan will be conducted here. Today company has the qualified staff composed of local experts engaged in the BP project. Besides, all necessary infrastructures to launch different projects and experience of works in the region are present.
