BP has launched the third advance bore at Western Azeri, BP told Trend. The daily oil extraction debit has reached 60,000 barrels.
The extraction at the field was started in this January. Several months earlier than planned.
458,000 barrels of oil per day are expected to be extracted since the Western Azeri and Central Azeri fields went into the exploitation.
2m 97,000 tons of AzeriLight oil was extracted this January-February, which is 1m 823,000 tons more than last year. 570,000 tons of them came from Chiraq field an 1m 026,000 tons from Azeri field.
