The Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes plans to receive from the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in taxes with consideration of 900m manats subsidies in 2006, Trend reports citing the head of Big Taxpayers of the Taxes Ministry, Sair Mammadkhanov.
According to Mammadkhanov, over 4 months of 2006 the SOCAR has paid 232m manats in taxes. In this case the payments fully coincide to the level of taxes remitted, Mammadkhanov noted.
In January to April 2006 the OGPU of SOCAR produced 2,61m tons in its onshore and offshore fields, which is 2,700 tons more ( or 0.1%) does as compared to 2005.
