Turkish oil company invites SOCAR to co-op

The President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovnag Abdullayev met with the Turkish assistant Deputy Minister for Energy and Natural Resources, Salih Pashaoglu and the President of the Turkish oil company TPAO, Osman Sain Jinji, the SOCAR told Trend.

The meeting focused on the projects on construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline and the South Caucasus Pipeline. The President of TPAO underlined that further the relationships with the SOCAR will be expanded.

The Turkish company has started obtaining profits from the investments put in Azerbaijan. Moreover, the Turkish company is ready for joint world with the SOCAR in the projects in Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kazakhstan. He noted that at present there are new areas in the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and the Ceyhan Port for cooperation. Abdullayev was invited to Turkey to discuss the projects.
