The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) announced a tender on the shipment of Azeri Light oil from the Turkish port of Ceyhan, delivered via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline (BTC), the company told Trend.
The oil consignment comprised of 1 million barrels (or 80,000 tons). The shipment is scheduled for 24-26 November 2006. The result of the tender will be announced on 26 October.
On 19 October prices of AZERI LT FOB Ceyhan made up $57.45 per barrel (dropped $0.57 per barrel as compared to previous price).
Oil consignments from Ceyhan were shipped by the following companies:
Statoil August (1 million barrels);
Arcadia September (600,000 barrels).
