BP Azerbaijan Announces Forecasts on Investment Expenditure on Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan for 2007 (video)

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / Investment expenditure for key projects operated by BP Azerbaijan in will amount to $3.139 bln in 2007. The Head of BP Azerbaijan, Bill Schrader, said on 29 May during a press conference that the investment expenditure on Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli project in 2007 will total $2.556 bln, development of gaseous condensate field of Shah Deniz - $369 mln, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan - $152 mln and the South Caucasus Pipeline - $62 mln.

According to him, the investment expenditure on these projects in the first quarter of 2007 amounted to $744 mln. The investment expenditure on Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli in the first quarter of 2007 amounted to $614 mln, Shah Deniz - $102 mln, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan - $16 mln and the South Caucasus Pipeline - $12 mln.

The operation expenditure on projects of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz for 2007 will be in amount of $572 mln, with $389 mln for Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and $183 mln for Shah Deniz.

The operation expenditure on projects of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz in the first quarter of 2007 amounted to $108, with $79 mln for Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and $29 mln for Shah Deniz.
