The gross domestic product in Azerbaijan amounted to over 81.6 billion manat ($48 billion) in 2019, which indicates an increase of 2.2 percent compared to 2018, Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.
Added value in the non-oil sector of the economy increased by 3.5 percent, while in the oil and gas sector this increase was by 0.4 percent.
Added value in the field of information and communications increased by 15.9 percent, agriculture, forestry and fishing - 7.3 percent, tourist accommodation and catering - 6.4 percent, construction - 6.1 percent, trade – 3.6 percent, car repair – 3.6 percent, industries - 1.8 percent, transport and storage facilities - 1 percent, other services – 3.3 percent.
GDP per capita amounted to 8,247 manat ($4,851).
