The volume of loans issued to public organizations in 2020 amounted to 24 million manat ($14.1 million), Trend reports citing statistics of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, this figure is 36.8 percent or 14 million manat ($8.23 million) less compared to 2019.
As reported, the share of lending to this sector in lending to the real sector amounted to 0.2 percent, remaining unchanged as compared to 2019.
The total volume of lending to the real sector in 2020 amounted to 14.5 billion manat ($8.53 billion), which indicates a decline in annual terms of 767.8 million manat ($451.6 million) or 5 percent.
