The inflation rate in Iran increased by 48.2 percent in the 11th month of the current Iranian year (January 20 through February 18, 2021) compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Statistical Center of Iran.
The statistics show that families spent an average of 48.2 percent more on some products and services compared to the same month of the last Iranian year.
The inflation on food, soft drinks, and tobacco products in Iran was 66.8 percent in the 11th month, while in the non-food and services sector was 39.7 percent, according to the statistics.
